saw some totem acoustic tower speakers for $1250-1500 and the rest ~ $600. they sounded great but does anyne have some more information about them, like are they worth the price. Id be buying them for a 6.1 setup and they might be in my price range if i wanted to splurge. thanks

Check out many good reviews on them at this sight, and you will get a good idea of them.

At the price point, you can also get many other good speakers - I would buy them used at www.audiogon.com Most speakers are well taken care of, and are more reliable than ebay.

You will end up with more quality this way for the same money. Also better resale value when you want to upgrade.
