http://www.treadwright.com/ Anyone know much about these? I've read only good things about them and a set of 4 31" tires is 300 bucks. I know its a legit company, but do you think they'll like blow out when im doing 65 on the freeway and kill me? I mean most 18 wheelers tires retreads i believe. |

off road sure. on highway no. think about how many retreads you see blown off on the highway. tirerack or nebraskatire has good deals on tires so check there. |

We have re-treadable tires on our grain trucks. Never had one re-treaded before though. Did have a blowout on one of the front tires with a full load before. That was a scary ride. |

If it did "blow out" on the hyway, the retread would only fly off, leaving you an inflated bald tire to drive on. Still you would need to do something, but its probly safer then a full blow out. They look decent for the price. If your doing a lot of offroading, then it maay be worth it as the will get beat fast. |
