Has anybody seen said flick? I have heard from several people that it is the summer blockbuster of the year. And others have said that even though they weren't interested in Star Trek when it was on TV(neither was i) that it is awesome and has a very good story. Any input? i haven't seen it yet, but the trailers make it seem very Epic. |

I heard it disgraced the original cast. Just what I heard though. And yeah, I used to watch the original series back in the late 70's.

Star wars and star trek will always do good because it deals with something we haven't conquered yet. (Space). Thus leaving our imaginations to continuously wanting more and more to fill the void. Some of Hollywood's best movies are about the unknown or yet to be explained. Star Wars Star Trek E.T. Close Encounters.... Armageddon Poltergeist Ghost 2001 Space Odessy Meet Joe Black Contact And so on and so on......... Once we as a species know everything, going to the movies will be redundant. Seeing as THAT will never happen.............

I went and saw the midnight premiere of the last Star Wars movie but that was just b/c we were at Wal-Mart and bought light sabers so we could stand in the movie theater parking lot and pick on the 100s of people dressed up like the characters. I fell asleep about 20 mins into the movie. Other than that, I havent seen any of the Star Wars movies either |
