I'm a student at MA Middle School. Today was the first day, I come to find out that my current bus stop, which has existed for 17 years now, is being moved. The place its being moved to is really far away. Its about a 35 minute walk from my house. This is really tough on me because, Its a long walk, and its keeping me from attending school. If I don't attend school, then my parents will get into trouble. If they choose to drive me, they would have to alter their working schedule, and drive about an hour and a half. Driving me everyday, with the current gas prices, would really exhaust my parents, and their money. The school is just being stubborn and idiotic. |

reread...he said the 35 min walk is to where the bus will pick him up....NOT to the school
but still, I've never heard of someone going to a school thats 1 1/2 hours away from their home. Don't tell me theres not a closer one.

Ok so it's a 35 minute walk to the bus stop. That's a what, 5 minute car ride? Surely they can afford to drive him at least that far.
And yeah. There isn't a school within that range closer?
How far away are their jobs? |
