i downloaded halo the other day. i am trying to install it but i can't.
this is the instruction that came with it. can someone make some sense out of this for me?
" Halo: Combat Evolved mini image
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1.Mount the "Halo-MINI.mds" with Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%.
2.Launch and play the game.

i use daemon tools. if you install daemon, after your restart your comp, a red icon should be in the clock panel. right click it and "mount" the halo mds file. should launch immediately. |

You need the real thing to play. The mini image will allow you to play, but you need the reg. #. At least to play online. |

How big was the file you downloaded Chad? I'm downloading it now, but the file is only 610MB. Is that going to be the full game, or just the demo? |

That's the whole game. Depending on file compression used it will range from 600-1000 megs. It was from 2003 and before the 4+ gig games surfaced. |
