We are testing out new board changes in this section, which includes an ad within the first post.
Other features coming include:- Sortable columns
- Edit and Print Icons next to each post (not available just yet)
- "Create New Thread" Button Added (replaces text link)
- Color coded member status (gold, platinum, etc...)
- Slightly revised login panel/box.
- Slightly revised "add message" form
- Some font changes
- "Forum Search" button added to header

everyting is great accept for that add thing... i know those things ginerate money... it looks like i post, and there a add on the side(thats fine) but then another add thing like a second post?? if you could have it just on the first post and not like a second thing that would be alot better
i love the member color things and the other stuff, alot actually looks really good... but could the adds be just one post instead of makin a second one on their own "Relevant Product Info " |

Are saying to move the "Relevant Product Info" automated post into the first post so it looks like it's all together? Or move it down the page? Or remove it entirely?
The idea of the "Relevant Product Info" is to automatically generate related deals about the topic of discussion. However, there may not always be a match, in which case it will display a random product.
I am still tweaking this idea, so your input would be greatly appreciated. |

I think for the option:
"Color coded member status (gold, platinum, etc...) "
you should just change the colour of the text only like for "No Limit Soldier" you have "silver member" coloured light blue, those buttons dont look good but hey its just my opinion. I think different coloured text for different status would be nice instead of those big coloured button things... |

Color Coded for gold members and above is a very good idea,I know LK will like it, just like being in the Army, how many stripes will LK get with over (14,000)Post?
A logo or a picture above the color would also look good |

Pesonally none of these ideas, thrill me..all eyewash and no substance...
if ya gonna make some changes...do some with IMPACT...like add more mods...ban troubled people...have sub categories within a forums..it would take all of 30 minutes to do these things with the admin control panel

etc

Its Ecoustics "spamming " up the site with their sponsors...but Ecoustics takes an anti-spam stance with site links ...LOL...what a crock of BS..

I like some of the ideas, but you need to allow specific mods for certain sections. WE CAN HELP! The people who frequent whichever particular forum they post on want to make it better! There are constant spammers and members joining to start trouble and everything else! We want to help, but you wont give us the opportunity to. Start us off with limited power and see how we deal with it. Our approach will be much different than what you think. I promise. |

I am still working on this...
I have decide to completely remove the first post ad as the overwhelming sentiment was negative about it.
I will be up late working on this tonight, so hopefully it will be fixed by morning.
We'll have to put the board in maintenance mode (which disables new posts) while we install the update. It will likely take about 1-2 hours to completely update. |
