Hey Admin, first off, good work keeping things under control with that idiot imback/kicker2500/tim scott.
Since things like that pop every month or so, to make your job easier, why don't you consider adding in some mods in several of the forums. I know the SAT section is just as bad if not worse than the subwoofer section.
With the mods in effect, they would be able to ban members like imback/kicker2500/tim scott and move threads to appropriate areas which will make your life much easier.
Just a friendly request that a few of us from the subwoofer section have been debating.

admin, why dont you want any mods? im just curious... it would make it about... 1000000000000000x easier on you AND this forum will get alot better reputaion because the other mods will be able to stop spammers like imback/kicker2500/tim scott and alot of others... i remember a few years ago we had a prob with members posting porographic matieral in the subwoofer section and it took a while to get all the threads/posts deleted from all the members posting that stuff. im just sayin it will make you alot happier and ALL of the constant members here on Ecoustics.com happy... you have the people willing to give thier free time to help this forum, why not give it a test week and if its good keep it, if not then eliminate the power for those you gave it too..

Mods? You can state the pros and cons to your heart's content. Do you honestly believe that the Administrator of this site does know any of that? Do you really think that you are actually giving the Admin new information?
This site is a business, and like any other business its purpose is to make money. The traffic is needed to make revenue.
This site has been around since 1999 and it is one of the first audio forums around that outlived most start up dot com companies way back when...and it's still growing.
So, who wants to be a moderator for each section without slowing down traffic to this site???LOL! |

Alot of people like these forums because there is that much more freedom.
I personally like this forum for what it is, but I think it could be a little more moderated than it is currently |

ok, well im just saying like only give the mods certain powers, (ie abilitie to delete threads with threatening degrating extreem negative or inapropriate pictures) not the ability to ban members or the power to tell admin who to delete right away, just the ability to keep the forum under controle because of those few immature members that decide to go on an all out war with ever member and thier cousin...
I know that every other day there is a new thread here in the sugestion section for "Suggestions & Feedback
Comments about our message board, suggestions, complaints, or general feedback."
so if this is the section for this type of stuff why don't they listen OR give an answer, we know they read all the threads in here but it would be really great if they would post a response, NOT EVEN A REASON, but just a response yes or no...
Berny, your right, this isn't new information, but thats just why it needs to be answered, its not new information AND we have not gotten a response yet "that i know of".... |
