Dear Readers,

I have in my possession a Sansui Model 370V. There is a hum using the Sansui Model 370V. The wires were connected as follows:
1. Red and Green were connected to the Centre and outer RCA Cable or cable with a screen over the centre cable.
2. Blue and White were connected to the Centre and outer RCA Cable or cable with a screen over the centre cable.

The cable is about a 1.5 metre long connected to the Equaliser Phono input (with a variable volume output). Was there any thing that I did wrong that causes the hum.

Thanks for the help, readers

Wrong forum, Cheng.

Next time go to the Home Audio" Forum, there is a section there that states "Phono"

But it seems like your problem is a ground wire. You need to connect that to the chassis of your input device.
