I have a newer Samsung HDTV w/HDMI and an older Yamaha 5.1 receiver that I want to use that, being 7 years old is something that I want to eventually upgrade and doesn't have HDMI ins). I want to buy an Arcam DV79 HDMI DVD/Audio Player, but am worried about the $1800 price tag. Can I hook up my TV to this DVD player directly and still have a digital system or what should I do to ensure that I'm getting the most for my money? Thanks...
