My 2 questions are and this first one is noob for sure...I have a sony kf50we610, is there a certain amount of time this tv needs to umm burn in i.e. after a few weeks of use it gets clearer and 2: Has anyone paid to have this set calibrated and was it worth it? I cannot seem to get the picture crystal clear it looks a bit blurry. Now that is when using the progressive scan dvd or watching HD channels. Any advice or tips will be GREATLY appreciated.

"Will you take the blue pill or the red pill?" - Morpheus, The Matrix

GWIII tweakers are a breed onto themselves...

If you want to see how deep the rabbit-hole goes, all I can tell you is, I hope you are prepared to deal with the 'obsessive/compulsives' of the TV world.

Personally, I haven't gotten to that point yet; mainly because I'm into 'web dev.' I'm not saying my obsession is any better than theirs; just different. Unfortunately, there are only 48 hours in a day, so you have to pick 'n' choose... :-)

Anyway, now that you've been warned, start with this thread, and then follow the links.

That will get you in the door...
