Hello. I have a newbie question to ask all of you. I recently purchased a JVC AV-56WP74 and a JVC XV-N55SL DVD player. I am currently using GE's Ultra something component cable to utilize progressive scan feature of the DVD player. My question is this.

Does it really matter if I would get enhanced video quality if I were to get Samsung's DVI interface DVD player? To my eyes, I really didn't see 'night/day' difference as BestBuy sales people recommended. I felt I got suckered into their sales strategy and ended up returning it the next day.

I am asking this question because I guess I am not quite sure if what I am seeing is its optimal quality of my setup can perform or maybe I am comparing this setup with the setup at Bestbuy which is big fat plasma TV with awesome video quality..

Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.
