Hello - calculated headings give 6.62 degrees elevation and 255 azimuth. The dish elevation starts at 20 and I can't seem to point it correctly to get a lock. Can anyone provide any advice?

Thanks in advance.

if you are still having trouble you can even go as high as 30.Im 150 miles north of toronto and spent 5 days trying to get it.I finally got it.I was using a odd variety of dish to bring it in,was actually using a older starchoice dish with a dishnet single lnb.I started by using a level.

thanks so much folks. I managed to lock in a signal but it's 110 degrees even though I've selected Echostar 4 (119 degrees) I understand they're coordinates are close to each other.

My settings show skews from -90 to +90. no 122. I think you meant the elevation is 28 and the az is 236 correct? i may have trees in the way at such a low elevation. any thoughts? appreciate any help that can be provided.

Very Thankful

One other quick question. on 110, most transponders seem to pull in 85 strength and 98 quality but 17 (which has ESPN) gets 50 quality at best and I can't download any channels. Any idea why?

Thanks

VT the trees shouldn't effect the signal that much as long as there's some opening, u might have to change 17 manually,it should be 12441.U need to move ur dish slightly to right 236sw and u should rescan sat1

awesome. thanks. there are some other TPs that don't get good strength/quality. i started to change their frequencies to 12441 and they seem to lock in as well. Is this ok to do with every TP?

Thanks again. Sorry but when you say only change the ones that are bad, do you mean change them to 12441 or to the frequency on Lingsat?

Print the list of channels and tps at lyngsat for both dish 119 and 110 then just change them to what that list says. only if u need to,if pictures fine, leave them alone.
