I just bought a new sony 60" hdtv monitor (model KF-60WE610) that I am wanting to connect my pc to. The video card on my pc has a s-video output and a vga output. When I connected the S-video to the HDTV I got and extremely grainy fuzzy image.
What am I doing wrong? My display on my PC is set to 800x600, what does it need to be set to?

still no help, I doesnt tell me what my pc display settings should be or if S-video even works with HDTV
