Hi,
I am very interested in getting a whole new satellite setup. Here are all the questions I got:
1. Am I allowed to use FTA in Canada?
2. Whats the cheapest and best receiver to get?
3. What is the smallest motorized dish I can get that will get me a lot of channels and good quality (not talkin about HDTV?)
4. Will I need a special LNB?
5. Will I need to get better wiring?
6. Where can I buy all of this?
Thanks!

1.yes you can use FTA in CAN
2.best and cheapest? doesnt work like that the best receiver to get is a Pansat2500A,easy to use and setup up you wont have any problems.
3.fu ck a motorized dish, just money down the drain, you said you had a DTV dish? that will work but you will only hit one bird and when u wanna switch birds you'll have to go outside and algin it.
4.no you will not need a specail LNB unless you want FTA in more than on room
5.wiring? eh,no/yes ive heard some people useing to much wiring and wouldnt get a singla and others wiring was just fine
6.www.ebay.com , www.ba-sat.com , theres a few also try local places.

leave me your email and ill send you some links to legit dealers and tell you what dealers arent legit

correction on 3. if ur dish is on the roof then yea go for a motorized dish.like me i took mine off the roof bought a 5ft pipe and put it in the ground and put my dish on it.less risk of falling off and less hassel

Well I have live in the city and I'm pretty sure the house behind me would get in the way so I don't think I can put it on the ground.

gonna be a long wait .. that's why i sub 8 receivers and rent out 5 of them for 150.00 a month .. that leaves me with 15 bucks after I pay my monthly bill .. i have prem package with NFL ticket .. so in other words I still get free DTV :-)

DDS at DssBliss.com is a bit of a scammer. He is advertising a Blackbird for 449.95 and the reciever in his ad is a Fortec Lifetime Ultra which sells for about $169.00. BUYER BEWARE.
