i would love to say this ...or better yet ask this ....with all that knowledge about smart card and its tec secrets ..and what can be implimented and modify..........you seem like you know alot about this new p4/d1 card......so i have a couple comments 1. if you so so much......you wouldnt be tell us so much about it ....and for what reason ....to see where we are at....let me enlight you with a piece of info....... i will post a file tomarow that only you and a couple knowledgable pll in here can understand. and let me clear up a few points: 1/p4/d1 can be spoof 2/ getting into rom and tring to stop the card from going into shut down mode is everybody problem meaning :it has a shut down mech.that shut down when you play around . 3/how do you fix rom shut down problem. there is a file that we allways use to access the 9hole in a hcard with wtx2flash and waffer ....works flowless with v!rgin p4...the problem is it wont take a/v auth...in stream.....but frens of mine have gotten around that..so have i .....which leads me to my next point. 3/ its true this card has shut down mech. in fact 2 and when card is compromize... it shut down and card becomes ice scraper . YOU WANT TO KNOW WHATS THE KICKER NOW .......THIS CARD HAS 2 ASCI...WHY....ONLY DAVE KNOW THAT.CAN WE EVER GET AROUND THAT PART.....ONE WILL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE. NDS Command Structure 2 v0.5 Card Version 2.0 This information is for academic interest and educational purposes only. There is nothing in this text that will enable decoding of NDS encryption. Illegal watching of encrypted TV is not condoned. 1. Introduction 2. Answer to Reset (ATR) 3. The Zero Knowledge Test (card verification) 4. The communication Protocol 5. The Entitlement Control Message (ECM) 6. The Entitlement Management Message (EMM) 7. The Instructions in detail 8. The signature 9. Codes 9.1 The Fuse Byte 9.2 The Rating Byte 9.3 The Parental Control Byte (PCB) 9.4 The Country Code. 9.5 The Regional code 9.6 The Bitmap algorithm 9.7 The keys 9.8 Structure of Date and Time 9.9 The Status Words 9.10 The Channel Entitlements (taken from Colibri Doc: http://colibri.move.to/) 1.Introduction: The card is always asked by the ICAM to receive or send information. The card never asks the ICAM to do anything! To do this the ICAM always sends a 5 byte long command packet header to the card. Standard 5 byte ISO-7816 header : "CLASS INSTRUCTION PARAM1 PARAM2 PARAM3" With the introduction of the new card 2 new classes were introduced: Class Meaning D0/D1 Replaces 48 of the old card D2 appends a 16 byte signature on the instruction reply D3 Use an additional stream cipher to secure transmission between card and box (NOT using internal HashCircuit) (Class 48 is no longer supportet and causes the card to rerun part of the initialisation including the ATR output.) PARAM1 and PARAM2 are used differently and are often ignored. PARAM3 is the length of the packet to be send or expected to receive. The cards first reply is the instruction number which is a vital value for the ICAM. These instruction numbers are possibly contained in a jumptable in the ICAMs source leading to a specific offset where processing continues. 2.The Answer To Reset (ATR):

It doesn't really matter, but NONE of the posts yesterday were from me, with the exception of the first one (which let you guys know why I haven't been posting). I, like my twisted impersonator, do appreciate everyone's kind words though. As for your C&P Ken, it's old. However, most of what is said still applies currently and I also agree with ALMOST all the points made. I know all of you would love it if I had some new hopeful news to post, but before I get everyone excited, bare with me for one more day so I can try and verify the validity of what I'm hearing. THE TRUTH |

I'm an ATC (traffic controller) here at Twin Cities International Airport. Of course, I'm not even supposed to be web surfing while working, but it's a slow day. For those who care, yes, there is a P4 hack. Everyone saw it comming. Hell, the only reason why it was so much harder to crack (besides the several million dollars spent to make it hard to hack) was the fact that the company who previously engineered and manufactured the access cards (NDS Ltd.) was selling secrets on how to hack them. Well, Dave then started making his own cards now, of course, but they're just as hackable. So just be patient because its coming soon !

THE-TRUTH -- I knew that wasn't you doing encores. Anyway, I also have private confirmation that a hack exists and will be made public soon, but I can say absolutely nothing more about it. As I was told, anyone is free to either believe me or not, because it makes no difference to me one way or the other. I'll be looking forward to reading your next post because I'm sure it will confirm what I've also been told. I wish I could say more, but I can't. Suffice to say that if your group has come across a hack that's other than the one I'm talking about, that would actually fit right in with what I've been told. Waiting to hear from you, Ken |

And when the new cards are hacked that will give Murdoch a reason to have his dtv pay his nds more money for a new "unhackable card" much like his dtv has doubled the amount of ads shown on his fox network (keeping the money in the family at the expense of stock holders and subscribers). |

I should have seen this coming. Over the years I've observed that the more arrogant and less responsive people get, the more likely they're about to fail. Oddly, when the going gets tough, most people don't do a gut check and rededicate themselves to providing responsible information. Instead, they circle the wagons and go into a delirious false expectations operation. |

boot -- Right on, m'man! Good to hear from you again. Happy Guy -- You know, normally I wouldn't even waste my time responding to a naysayer like yourself, but you write intelligently, even though what you write is devoid of applicabiity and logically incorrect. You read good books, but never understand them. You've correctly paraphrased a thought about people who become arrogant and less responsive, but then you willy-nilly apply those dispersions to three people, not one of whom you know anything about. And in the same breath you drew a false conclusion by ascribing failure to us: If a hack isn't forthcoming, we will not have failed; we will all three of us have been lied to by different persons, something that goes on in life all the time. I do not fail because I believe people that I trust. In fact, just the opposite would be true. And the last half of your illogical assertion is even more replete with nonsense. First of all, when the going gets tough most people, like yourself, go into hiding somewhere and assume anonyminity. I for one, and THE-TRUTH for another, provide info in re to all colors of the spectrum, good or bad or indfferent, and aren't afraid to live with the consequences. That's the gut check, little fella. And as far as circling any wagons is concerned, I wouldn't want the likes of you on my side if push ever came to shove because you'd be heading for the hills. Lastly, "and go into a delirious false expectations operation": That's exactly what your little pea brain allowed you to do. Don't use words that you can't handle. Ken

Though here is something for you all to reflect on Murdoch wasn't in charge during the last card swap and even with 15+ million subscribers some one who knew how to do it could do it a heck of a lot faster (just requires hiring temporary help). And it is now in Murdoch's interest to devolop a real unhackable conditional access card that he can sell to others. |

Free Willy -- If you would have always posted under the same nick, and if you would have registered, you'd be dead by now. But thanks for the compliment. (By the way, if you had paid attention to your English teacher, you'd have known to use "too" instead of "to" when you mean "also," or "as well," or "in excess," as in "too much," which is what you are.) And thanks once more for giving me the opportunity get yet another post! When I get my "gold member" award, what would you like to do with it? "Food" for thought? Ken |

Free Willy -- OK, now that I've had my two hours of sleep, I'm going to apologize to you. You're comments were not offensive, actually rather witty, and at first that's the way I took them and wanted to reply appropriately. But I should have stopped after the "English Lesson." Playfull banter is fun, and you're good at it. But I went too far when I brought in the "Gold Member" award, and for that I apologize. Not only do I apologize, but I never did give you the "kudos" you deserved by your winning repartee, "Put it in Uranus." That should have been answered with a "Touche!" You're a sharp person, young or old. I hope you're not offended. Nobody's on line, so I'll pleasure myself by doing what I enjoy fourth most, writing. Y'know, some days are more difficult than most, and I guess today was one of them. On Monday a poster who goes by the nick of Markcam, made reference to what turned out to be a zip-file at dsscentral. Rather than having everyone going over to that site and trying to find it, I C/P'd it here. It was old, but nonetheless still true. In fact, as I had pointed out at another site where it had been posted before I had gotten the chance to, a post that was true four to five months ago and was still true today, based upon what we minions know, is even more credible. Regardless, at both sites it was pretty well received in the same way. It was old, and therefore didn't count. (I would be remiss if I didn't mention the fact that my position was supported by an Admin who is renowned by the nick known as Cipher. Thanks, guy.) Subsequently, I was informed by a contact who will go un-named, but of equal renown from a different site, that a hack was forthcoming in the immediate future. So I reported that, as well, to the extent that I felt was not a breach of honor, and of course that was met with equal disdain. So you get it from both sides, and that should be expected. (By the way, to give further credit to Cipher, even though he defended my position to defend the C/P, etc., he has put his own rep on the line by "predicting" that a hack will be forthcoming in the "immediate future," as well. Y'gotta respect a guy with "cajones" that big.) Then, after you've done what you thought was the most professional thing to do, post both sides, you get a pissant who contributes nothing, not even humor, who, like his namesake, wants to pi$$ on the efforts of those who are trying to bring the best information that's available to the forefront. And that's when I become the Intolerable Pedant (aka Literature/English Teacher). And yeah, that sucks. But at least that's one less psuedo-intellectual from the Peanut Gallery that hasn't been heard from. Remember this if you wanna play with me: I don't accept criticism from non-contributers. Banter and fun, yeah. And when I lose it, I apologize. And now, at 3:30am my time, I had better get ready for the early risers your time. See y'all later. Ken |

the bjkidd -- SCAM. Forget it. This is the same "offshore" company that we just finished destroying a couple of months ago, now under a different name. $hit, they're still selling HU Mikobu loaders!!! Some of their pages, like shipping instructions, are the exact same copies of what they had before: Wrap your card in foil, put it in a birthday card, etc. BS, BS, BS. For anyone who's been on-line for more than a month, it's a joke. On the other hand gentlemen, there're a lot of newbies who need your advice, no matter how trivial it might seem to you, so step up and help these guys. Remember when you didn't know $hit? Well, now it's your turn to be the good guy. Ken |

Im here in Victoria (can.) and I just bought a subbed P5 and its workin ok But my question is this...Im customer #102 so this guy has sold by now more than 200 subbed cards. So how can he get so many subs ? Does this mean theyre all coming down soon ? |

Clueless it's imposible for him to have 200 cards registerd under one name. he would have to have at least 40 differant accounts under differant names. btw your card probably will only be up a month, after he stops paying the bill. sorry to be the bearer of bad news. |

Right on! deaf. What bothers me is why people buy into things first and then ask their questions later. I don't know what Clueless & W paid, but at best he's going to get a month-and-a-half, and if he's at the end of the line of his sub-group, he may be down in weeks or even days. Psylent -- Don't buy anything. If you live in the US and you have to subscribe, DAVE will sell you a P5 for $20. If you live anywhere, as you most certainly do, if and when a hack ever comes it'll be good if not better for the P4. And now the bad news: No sooner did I post what I thought was good news about a "guaranteed" hack when I'm now informed that all bets are off. C'est la vie! (C'mon, I-told-you-so's, I ain't runnin' away.) Ken |

To Wayne Upshaw.........Im customer #102 because the guy has a list on his comp where he has your name -irds serial - the cards number and your phone and I saw that list when I went to pick up my ird because you have to leave it there overnight. And alot of peepz have been goin there because hes the only one doin it here in Victoria so thats why I said that by now maybe theres 200 subs but i had been reading these sites and nobody says that you can have that many subs so I got worried that yhis is a scam. Also death said it is a scam. And I been using the sub for 8 days now and only 1 time it came on screen call 711? so I just called the guy and just said #102 and after a while it was back on. and you pay $150 can for the card and the guy said you wont have any problems for 5 months. But maybe I got screwed so I plan on keep reading these sites to know when a good crack comes out. OK. |

wayne upshaw -- You have a great sense on humor, and in times that aren't so promising. Nice to see that. (If you want to see real stress in action, go visit P4info.com, P4 forums. They were publicly "guaranteeing" a fix & loader mod, and it all fell through. I am holding out the slightest hope that my "guarantee" didn't disappear with theirs, but I'm not very encouraged.) Anyway, with you sense of humor in mind, and having loved the joke you made about your ex-, I'm offering the following just to brighten up everyone's day as it did mine: ---------------------Begin---------------------- Subj: Fw: FW: According to Children Date: 9/2/2004 12:34:05 PM Pacific Daylight Time Sent from the Internet (Details) Subject: According to Children HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHO TO MARRY? ( 1 ) You got to find somebody who likes the same stuff. Like, if you like sports, she should like it that you like sports, and she should keep the chips and dip coming. -- Alan, age 10 ( 2 ) No person really decides before they grow up who they're going to marry. God decides it all way before, and you get to find out later who you're stuck with. -- Kirsten, age 10 WHAT IS THE RIGHT AGE TO GET MARRIED? ( 1 ) Twenty-three is the best age because you know the person FOREVER by then. -- Camille, age 10 ( 2 ) No age is good to get married at. You got to be a fool to get married. -- Freddie, age 6 (very wise for his age) HOW CAN A STRANGER TELL IF TWO PEOPLE ARE MARRIED? ( 1 ) You might have to guess, based on whether they seem to be yelling at the same kids. -- Derrick, age 8 WHAT DO YOU THINK YOUR MOM AND DAD HAVE IN COMMON? ( 1 ) Both don't want any more kids. -- Lori, age 8 WHAT DO MOST PEOPLE DO ON A DATE? ( 1 ) Dates are for having fun, and people should use them to get to know each other. Even boys have something to say if you listen long enough. -- Lynnette, age 8 (isn't she a treasure) ( 2 ) On the first date, they just tell each other lies and that usually gets them interested enough to go for a second date. -- Martin, age 10 WHAT WOULD YOU DO ON A FIRST DATE THAT WAS TURNING SOUR? ( 1 ) I'd run home and play dead. The next day I would call all the newspapers and make sure they wrote about me in all the dead columns. -- Craig, age 9 WHEN IS IT OKAY TO KISS SOMEONE? ( 1 ) When they're rich. -- Pam, age 7 ( 2 ) The law says you have to be eighteen, so I wouldn't want to mess with that. -- Curt, age 7 ( 3 ) The rule goes like this: If you kiss someone, then you should marry them and have kids with them. It's the right thing to do. -- Howard, age 8 IS IT BETTER TO BE SINGLE OR MARRIED? ( 1 ) I don't know which is better, but I'll tell you one thing. I'm never going to have sex with my wife. I don't want to be all grossed out. -- Theodore, age 8 ( 2 ) It's better for girls to be single but not for boys. Boys need someone to clean up after them. -- Anita, age 9 (bless you child) HOW WOULD THE WORLD BE DIFFERENT IF PEOPLE DIDN'T GET MARRIED? ( 1 ) There sure would be a lot of kids to explain, wouldn't there? -- Kelvin, age 8 And the #1 Favorite is : HOW WOULD YOU MAKE A MARRIAGE WORK? PW-putz -- Two out of three ain't bad. deaf -- Forever the optimists, we are. But seriously, I didn't get my info directly from p4info, so hopefully my guy (and your guy, if they're different) are onto something else. By the way, looks like you're only one online with a sense of humor tonite. No, Anonymous was funny, and so was putz. Anyone know the URL for ID? I've been spending some time watching the blood-letting going on over at p4info, and more than a few times that site has been referred to as the most technically qualified site on the net. Not that I'd understand everything that they're talking about, but I'd like to hear their opinions and maybe even learn a little bit. Thanks, Ken |
