I do not know too much about TVs and have learn alot about your discussions. Would you please give me your opinion whether it is worth to buy a TV with a built in tunner. Do you think that TVs who are HDTV ready will be obsolete in few years?

It would depend on the price difference. IMO if the tv with tuner only cost you no more than $200 comparing to the tv without, I say it is worth it. Although it is true that most people rely on their cable or sat turner to get local HD, a tv with hd-tuner built-in would give you more flexibility. It will also give you a backup if the cable or sat is down.
I have a true hdtv and I hooked it up with a small $25 in-door antenna. I can actually pull in more local HD channels than the out-door antenna I got from Voom.
