I've read some threads that people have some DLP's that they have a certain amount of time to upgrade it to the next chip. Do you know where?? I'm looking the Samsung HD2+ chips, but would like to know that I could upgrade to a xHD3 model this winter. - - Help!!

I think the universal answer to upgrading chips is no.

Not upgrading chips, I mean the entire DLP - some people have mentioned trading in their current DLP for a newer version coming out this fall - what company did they buy from????
