Does anyone know how to convert this to avi or mpeg? I have a Philips DVDR and I'd like to be able to edit these files on PC. Any help would be appreciated.

I looked at both of those but I cannot find any reference for a .vod file extension. Plenty of VCD stuff, but not VOD.

Are you sure that's not VOB? Never heard of VOD.

David, you are correct. And I've since found that Win DVD creator 2 will convert this format. Thanks for your help.
