Experiencing signal breakup (pixelation) & loud snapping back thru spkrs. Have reset sat receiver numerous times. Mainly happens early am and never on HD channels. Mostly on TECH & SPEED channels. Signal from D*. My suspect is electric motor startup or? Any help or suggestions appreciated.

I am experiencing some of the same problems that you are talking about. I had the first RCA HD receiver with no problem, upgraded to a sony hd 300 and then the problems occured. At about 7:00pm every night I would lose regular programming and local channels but the hd would always be fine. In the morning all channels are back and working. It does this everynight. There are 4 other receivers in the house one hd hughes and the rest regular rca and none of them experience that problem.
I hope you found what was causing your problem. Please let me know?
