i have a reader that says ul4s reader and a hu card the card was program before.do i need a NEW card or will this one work. i joined one of those clubs with the private scripts and bins but i still can't get it to work.the club won't even respond to me emails |

you dont
you can get freeware at several forums on the internet but if you have basic service you can add everything else and it will not get blacklisted because the bin is subscribed,the 3m will still get hit and blackout so you will have to load new 3m on your subscribed bin,but if you put a good activation file on your basic service it can last monthe depending on the teirs.
or you can use freeware but you have to have some basic knowledge of programing and load your card once to twice a week,or pay a site and get the programs emailed to you when they go down

Step one is unzip winex 5.0 and all its ini files in the zip to its own folder and name it winex5.0(because there are other versions).
Most public unloopers will work with 5.0 and for every public winex you download unzip all contents into this folder.
Loader must be flashed with ul4s
1) Open WinExplorer
2) Click on Configure
3) Then Program Parameters
4) Under Quick Settings pick Unlooper (biggest cause of this error message!)
5) Set Com Port to 1
6) Data Baud should be 115200
7) Reset Baud should be 115200
8) Parity should be None
9) Rec Timeout should be 200
10) Byte Delay should be 0
11) Reset Delay should be 0
12) Stop Bits should be 1
13) Under Byte Conversion put the dot on Direct
14) Do not check Flush Echo Bytes
15) Do not check Flush Receive Buffer Before Writes
16) Click the advance tab
17) No dot in No Resets
18) No dot in ISO Reset (Expect a ATR)
19) Put Dot in Device Reset (No ATR)
20) No check in Ignore Receive Timeouts
21) DTR should be Low
22) RTS should be High
23) Toggle this line for reset should be DTR
24) Click the program settings tab
25) Allow Multiple Instances should be blank
26) Associate WinExplorer Files Should be checked
27) Batch Step Mode should be blank
28) Log Transactions should be blank
29) Display Fuse after Each Script should be checked
30) Decimal should have a dot
31) Display USW After Each Script should be checked
32) Decimal should have a dot
33) Click Save then ok then yes
34) Now close the configuration window by clicking OK
To run each program can be done by using the icon for each individual program or once you have used each program once you can use the recent file window in the file toolbar thus making it easier to open each program without closing the whole window. Or you can click run script and the folder window will appear for you to choose which program you want to run. I use recent files most of the time to run program simply click the icon that is a little hand holding a piece of paper(run script) then follow program instructions.

all this stuff for the hu is pretty much pointless, the hu stream is almost gone & today(4/27/04) is supposed to be the complete shutdown..anyways if you program your hu you can still get like 8-10 channels..Good Luck..
Ps:slj install renstall your extremehu support files, but i would get familar with Winexplorer cause Extremehu is going to be obsulete in a matter of days..I promise you |

thanks for response cali, was just starting and this is happenning, i know it is going down, but was still going to try to start learning some of this stuff as future references. thanks for the ups on using winexplorer i will mess with it today. if you have any other useful hints would appreciate. also in cali. |

I got an error message "Error: V6.1 Not Supported" when I tried to clean my card by using Extreme HU 3.5a, and the ATMEL code shows "V6.1". Does any one know what's worng ?. Do I need to change my loader ? |
