hi, i just bought the toshiba model with the hardrive and it works great and everything..BUT i cant seem to get it to transfer tapes to the hardrvive.
i know thats has something to do with the fact that i have a tv/vcr combo set and a dish network system. eveyrhting works fine except being able to play videos and having it record. itl end up recording whatever is on the tv instead of whats on the tape..ive tried using different channels and inputs, and i bet this is something small and im too stupid to use it, but does anyone have any idea on how to fix this? thank you.

The recorder needs to be set on whatever input the VCR is connected to. Sounds like it's on the wrong input.
