Hi everyone. This is my very first post to this forum, so I hope my etiquette is correct. I currently have no satellite tv, but was looking at the Bell Expressvu HDTV Model 6120 receiver. Here in Winnipeg, it sells at our local future shop for around $360.00. My question is: If I purchase this receiver and also purchase and maintain a minimum monthly Bell package, will the "Magic Card" open up additional channels for viewing? If the Magic Card will work, what is the best way of buying one? Thanks for your help in advance!

Hi I am in the same case as you are, but I won't buy a receiver from the dealer. go to downeast buy one for $599. you own the unit. here is the site. http://www.downeastmobility.com/foryou/ProductDisplay.asp?OP=&OPA=&PCS=SatTV&PC= &ItemNum=6120SYSTEM |

sorry to say guys, but you cannot test the 6100 to get free tv.this unit does not use a card.it has a smart chip inside that prevents you from getting free tv.so i,d be looking for a 6000HD receiver.6120 means you get the 6100 ird and a 20" dish |
