Thread: Will sony release a DVI DVD Player? |

id really like to know if anyones heard of them releasing something similar to the the Samsung HD841, because i dont like this dvd player too much. picture quality is good, but using it is just bad, and i like sony better, it will probably look better on my sony tv if i keep the brands the same. but if anyone has any info about release dates id like to know. thanks guys.

Hi person,
Good Guys Sunday ad lists the Sony DVPNS975V as a new item with "HDMI upscaling". However, I can't find specs anywhere on Sony or GG's web site. I called them and they already show out of stock. Looks like they ran the ad premature, as I understand they will be released on 10/1. |

HDCP has made a serious mess out of DVI. Personally, I think ppl should forget about it. I know I have!
Sony has taken a wait 'n' see attitude toward this DVI BS, and so should 'we'. In other words, don't hold your breath... |
