I have a question about the aspect ratio of TV programs that are broadcast in high definition. Is it in 4:3 or 16:9? What about future programs? This will influence my decision in buying a widescrren TV. I don't watch many DVDs, mostly sports on TV.

HD programs are broadcasted in 16:9
