I just got my hands on six of them. They are all used but apparently working. From what I understand they were used by legitimate BEV customers who cancelled their service. (There is a picture of what 4 of them look like below.) Can these cards be hacked? If so, what are they worth should I try to sell them? Anyone?

Yes, they can be hacked. However you don't need to hack them in order to sell them. Go on ebay.com and check them out, from what i understand they are not hacked there and people still buy them for like $10-$20. If they are hacked the price is around $60, but you also need to install a chip into you reciever before using hacked cards. With out the chip a satellite signal will erase everything that is stored on your card in less than a week! So take care. |
