Hi,
I recently bought a Panasonic DMR-E80 DVD Reocrder and connected to Dishnetwork PVR Receiver. Is there any way I can use the timer recording feature of Dishnetwork PVR so that it automatically turns the DVD reorder on record the shows?

I tried it but the DVD recorder does not come on and record. Dishnetwork techs dont even know much about DVD Reocrders.

Any help will be very much appreiciated.

NO there is no way. The only thing u can do is setup a timer on your dvd recorder to record the line in at a certin time then have the reciver do an auto tune timer fire at the same time to tune tothe chnnl that u want record.
