Hey Guys, I have an old FLU which was converted to PUFF and now I would like to convert it back to FLU and do a factory reset, so I may receive FTA channels. Any suggestions/steps on how this can be achieved will be most appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Converting to Flu is done to bring the FLU to its original FTA stage and then using it as a pure FTA receiver with your huge Dish pointing to pure FTA sats and scanning with a (usually) linear LNB. There a re few FTA channels in the KU band for a smaller dish (36-39"). |

There probably are that many, although many are on C band now, Ku band has lost some of it's most popular channels. Ku is becoming less and less usable, whereas C band is still usable. You need a Large dish, shouldn't be hard to find as many folks will pay to have them taken out of their yard. |

Joe You are right! We lost many channels, but you can get many channels C-Band with a 4 feets now, but like Ku we lost channels which are encrypted now. |
