so there is lots of talk for iks , eks , and cardshare..
and we are seeing that there is no standalone bin for standalone, so forget that sh*it..
now kbox/ nfusion use iks..
very easy to setup , u only pay for box..
but lets talk about other choices..
what is difference b.w eks and and cardshare..
i think captiwe work use cardshare...
on other hand neosat ipro 2000 use both..
so as a "noob" if some one wants to get cardshare ...
what kind of equipment they need in order to set it up beside fta reciever...
so any one has list of rec who works on cs..
i think cardshare is about $25-30/mth..
with no freezing , ppv and everything is up...
i guess it can be 2nd choice if u want some thing to never go down...
as we seen both kbox and nfusion have iks problems.. so don't tell me which one is better...
so the 3 questions that comes on mind
are
1) what kind of equip u need beside fta rec
2) which fta rec works for cardshare
3) how to pay for it.. i mean which website you go to pay for it"...
dream box is too complicated..
and "eks" is hard to trust..
i think mothly option is best way to go...
so experts... nalin, plymouth , king , gregref
and all u ecoustics experts please answer...
lets talk about some thing that is future and will survive, instead of viewsat cr*ap..

nah.i never tried it "reason" as u mentioned that its quite complicated,
firs of all u need linux based server,
and u need to "jtag" some equipment which i have no idea...
so that's why i started this topic...
some easy way to setup an iks reciever
with less "down time"...
and may be "some ecoustics" member can share cs... (lol for that wish) |

sada cw and cardshare first off you dont get ppv and if you want want to see the fight i here there is a small fee of i think 10 dollers us i did not go for it i have nf it gets more then cw right now with no month charge |

so .. from a technical stand point no differnece in EKS or IKS IMHO just how they getting moeny from user
IKS= buy box
EKS/Card share = monthly
they both still sharing a bought sub card.. basically |

only cs is more expensive but less down time..
do u have list of which rec's use cs..
so is as simple as loading the bin.. or getting codes?
any reliable websites/persons which uses cs.. |

back to topic..
i chat with the guy on the website that is provided by devin (thx)...
so basicallly its only up with captiwe work..
guy charges $ 75 /usd $82 cad for 3 months..
u need to pay advance and via western union..
ok now here is the part i don't like...
u need one computer that is connected to ur cw via serial cable and internet ,
u need to turn on ur comp all the time in order to make it work...
and u need to directly connect the null modem cable from back of ur comp to ur rec...
he said no freezing , no downtime..
and channels list doesnt include ppv's ,
or pak channels,
there are indian channels, some movie ,news channels..
the other thing he also sells mod dn rec/s so u can use those ones too... |
