Samsung DLP doesn't power on, what else is new? TV tries 3 times to come on but fails with 3 flashing LEDs. Tried new lamp, same thing. Cleaned inside tv, wasn't that dusty, all 3 fans are working. Light comes on but never seems to kick to full brightness, which would lead me to believe it is the lamp ballast, however from reading other posts it could also be color wheel, DMD board, Digital board or entire light engine(which has already been replaced once on this). My question is there a way to test the lamp ballast, also is there a way to tell which component is causing this without guessing by throwing part after part at it? The TV is 6 yrs. old and has already had service 3 times. The extended warranty has run & they wouldn't renew it(3rd party). Called Samsung for help but nothing. I would love to paste their responses here but don't know if thats permitted. Samsung seems to think 6 yrs is good for tv life, wish something could be done about them, I for one will never buy anything from them again.
