Just got a sony DVP-SR400P DVD player with DivX so I can watch divx/avi movies on TV. Registered and activated everything with the Divx website.

The issue i am having is that i can not copy divx/avi files to a DVD-R or DVD+R. I can copy on to a CD-R but it will not copy on to a DVD. I was using the Divx player to burn but it takes about 1 minute tells me it is burned and nothing is on the disk. If I try to send files I get an error message ( unless i have a CD-r in the player) if i have a DVD-R or DVD+r in the dvd recorder. I have burned many DVD's on the recorder going from AVi to DVD format with no problem.

Is it possible to burn 4 or 5 divx movies on to one DVD-R disc and play them on the Sony dvd player? Is It possible to burn one avi/divx movie on to a DVD-R or DVD+r?
