lightning struck my TV through the power line and vaporized a circuit trace and as a precautionary measure I replaced the power relay and bridge rectifier. the bridge rectifier SONY sent me is rated at 600V1.5A while the one in the TV is 600V/4A. i tried to walk them through the problem but they are either severely or purposely retarded and could not understand basic electronics. did what i should of done in the first place was to go to the e-parts store where i found an truly suitable bridge. I will never buy a SONY anything ever and will take any oppurtunity to trash them.
