here u go MC manually input the PID's and ull get these channels then..hope that helps

i dont watch arabic channels but im only getting these 5 i deleted all the rest lol....umm i thought u said ur already getting 2 arabic channelS?

The 5 channels you are getting are encrypted with N2 ? If so, I will try to get them with my Pansat 2700. Please confirm if on N2 ? Thanks |

Thanks satgrl for transponder info. I am using Pansat 2700A and can only do: 12224 20000 V. That is, set these 3 parameters only ! Cannot set the remaining:
Vpid 4898
apid 4899
pcr 4898
Any idea ? Thanks. |

You can set one channels. Scan it. It comes in as CH-A. You then go ahead to rename it in channels edit.
Then repeat procedure for the next one.
If the TP is missing, you can manually add the TP or modify an existing one. |

Nalin, It's good to hear from you.
In Installation -> Edit TP/Satellite, I only can change:
Down Frequency, Symbol Rate and Polarity. That is also the case for creating a TP. So how can I define VPID, APID and PCR for a Transponder ? Thanks. |

Did you look at advanced scan?
Also in Edit Tp you can a dd a TP and then in Advanced scan, you change its Vpid, apid, pcr from Auto to the number you you enter from your remote. |

It is BIN 218. At future-fta.info it is mislabelled 214. It is dated 9th June or thereabouts.
you can also get it as a 218 from many sites.
It is only of limited use now for a few Pakistani channels on 148W still under N2. |

There are no new valid BINs, except that the current BIN will give a few Pakistani channels still under Nagravision 2 if you are pointing to 148W.
At Derry Rd in Malton, I am doubtful if you can change the sat direction to get 148W.

It is not easy to get it in Toronto unless you have a large dish (36") and are lucky with your pointing. |

Thanks Nalin Nyda, you are the man. Advanced Scan has it. I get 148 from Ottawa with 36" dish but slight rain kills the signal. |

Just remember, in SW Ontario the dish is pointing slightly down towards the ground to hit 148. I get over 85% with a 24", neighbour gets high 70's with an 18". |

What about the other local channels on 148. I can get 75% quality and it scans 100 channels but none of them work. I added the above 7 channels with manual PIDs and it worked. Does any body have or know where to find VPID, APID and PCRPID info for local channels or any other channels on 148. this is in ohio
