sada i am going to buy kbox tommorrow and i wanted your help where can i find a step by step guide to program the kbox and watch tv, also i want to watch south asian channels and what i have read till now this is the only box that has all the south asian chanels up and running, i also want a piece of advice whether sonicview is better or kplus is. hows the support on kplus, i hope its not like nfusion, which has dumped nova, i have a nova and now i have to buy a new box please advice |

sada i also need a new receivier plz let me know on which one to buy and from where so i can get the legitimate one ... i bght a nfusion solaris and i quess it has a nova board coz it yet says service not avaliable  ..
my primary concern is to watch south asian channels esp Indian Channels .. |

ghuman, If I remember correctly sada have explained about it many many times. if you guys do some reading, you won't panic this way.
Couple days sada have compared k1plus and nfusion.I',m sure he will go for k1plus. No doubt about it. Anyway, I'm sure he will here any minute. |

thanks devin, devin is right
daminder definately k1plus would be better choice,
k1plus is up on all south asian channels, its cheaper than sonicview, also pic quality and pvr is awesome,
u need to buy khub and k1plus
u must have ur dish pointed to 118.8
cks same thing goes for you.. k1plus is choice,
make sure u have dish pointed towards 118.8 |

thanks sada i know that you will go for the k1 plus i just wanted to confirm it before taking the leap with sonicviews reliability and and not knowing the support of k plus, because i am very annoyed with nfusion as it has dumped its original people who had bought the box first and made nfusion what it is today and dumping the original users is not good.

KHub activation from receiver:
-copy KHub.rom to USB drive
-with KHub attached to receiver, power on
-Go to Menu: Utilities> Data Transfer> USB Explorer
_select KHub.rom and press OK

peeps its nothing to do with dish,
dish network moved internationals from 61.5 to 118.8
so u have to get bigger dish,
so its nothing to do with iks.. |

sada i have 118.8 but i fiddled with it now it is not alligned properly bu tommoorow morning i will try andalign it again and then i will intall kplus, but again if there is anyplace that shows step by step tat will be great, as i dont want to make a mistake |

thanks sada for the help and doing it so nicely, i have installed the kbox and is working but a lot of desi channels are not working, can you please give me the satellite settings also for kbox maybe thats the reason.

daminder some channels went down today,
hindi package is down
urdu and punjabi channels are up,
don't worry they will be up soon,
may be they are working on server..

Sada...Does Kbox support DP44 switch? Do we need to have DP44 switch if we are using Dish500+ dish with Kbox pointing to 110/118 and 119 satellites?

Is there any other option to get 118, other than using dish500+ ? I heard that 118 need special LNB which comes with Dish500+. |

u don't need to get dish 500
any 33 inch dish will work
and u need to get circular lnb.. |

What kind of setup you have? Do you have 2 dish, 1 pointing to 118 and other pointing to 110/119?
I have dish 500+ and thinking of buying switch dp44, since can not get solaris working without DP44 switch. |

118.8 and 119 with 33 inch dish and circular lnb
- have 2 rec's,

this is from other member, who is testing pro..
its for prodiology
if you are running more then two receiver use a zinwell 4x4. DP plus lnb will work, cause of the disqc build in. I notice sw21 don't work with the Prodigy at the moment. |

sada thanks for the help and kbox is working very good and i am happy, i have another question will kbox work with bev too.
i also have nfusion nova, i have heard that some hack is available for that but does it have desi or no on them |
