Hello all.

I recently got an Emerson 19inch tv. Our house has a cable outlet (we don't actually have cable and stuff). I plugged my tv into the cable outlet with a standard coax cable. We're trying to get local channels but our tv only picks up 1 channel, and the reception is terrible and very pixely and blocky. We live close to the inner city with no very tall trees around us. I don't know what the problem is! Thanks!!

You need an antenna.
Go to one or both of these sites and put your info in and see what type and size antenna you need:
