The problem that I have is my Samsung L.E.D. DLP HLT5687SX/XAA screen is blue in color and the L.E.D. light that is underneath power button stays on when turned off

You can fix both of those issues by going into the menu and turning off the power indicator light. It will only light up when you press a button on the remote. Or you can elect to have it on all the time. The Blue you are seeing is also in the menu. It is used to calibrate the colors, it must have been turned on by mistake. It is somewhere in the color adjustment menu just look for it.
