iO TV has just informed me that effective 5/5/09 although several channels will remain in my existing package, they will only be available on TVs with a digital cable box and the iO Navigation package or a CableCard. I do not a digital TV so I guess I will have to get the cable box. They are supplying it free for 12 months after which they will charge a monthly fee. Frankly, I am, tired of paying ever escalating monthly charges. Is there anything I could do or device I could invest in so that I do not have to pay another monthly charge to watch my existing channels now or in the future? Thank you for any help or advice - I am a non techie novice.
