I found some links that are related to my thread http://forums.vnunet.com/thread.jspa?threadID=90093&start=135&tstart=0 http://forum.cabletv.com/tech-questions-answers/2377-how-connect-satellite-recei ver-vcr.html I was not able to see the attached pdf file in the link above. Normal coaxial antenna is connected directly to aerial jack on the Samsung TV. Another coaxial-"Free To Air" channels-Digital Set-Top Box (Humax IRCI-5400z decoder) is connected via composite cable (RCA cable Red, White, Yellow) to TV jacks ( AV IN1 Red, White, Yellow ). Humax has one set of RCA output plugs LG Combo with VCR (DVD Recorder) model RC185 is connected from AV out (RCA cable Red, White, Yellow ) to TV Samsung AV IN2 (RCA cable Red, White, Yellow). If I want to record from TV channel or Satellite decoder to DVD recorder , are the connections okay , where is my mistake ? |

I'm confused why you have both the satellite receiver box and a regular antenna. Anyway, if it was me, I'd connect the Humax RF OUT to TV's RF IN. And, I'd connect the Humax AV OUT to the LG's AV IN 1. With this, your TV and your LG will get the decoded channels from your Humax. |
