Hello everyone i am new here . i looking for an answer for my hln617w they tell me i need a new dmd board. i have heard of a way to bypass the 5v supply going to the ballast to fire the lamp. Does anyone know how to do this? if so will it hurt any other components on the tv?

I have a HLP5063.
Color wheel broke. I replaced that and the bulb. Still not working -- 3 blinking lights.
Replaced the ballast and again still not working. I still have the 1 blinking light and then it tries to start up and goes to 3 blinking lights.
HELP

Fixed it. I had the bare wire from the color wheel in backwards.
