The TV is about 20 months old and we replaced the bulb about 8 months ago. However, yesterday we were watching TV and it suddenly lost picture (black screen) and audio.

Now, when we try to turn it on, we here an intermittent buzzing sound, which seems to coincide with the lamp trying to light and we get a black screen. Meanwhile, the lamp light blinks for a while and the TV powers down and then up again with the same symptoms. This continues on three times and then all three lights blink (lamp, standby/temp and timer).

Can anyone offer any advice?
