I have a 60" HD Not a HDTV, can someone please inform me of the difference please. My HD 1080p tuner does not show 1080i so well. I installed a HS HDMI it helped a weebit. I'm on time-warner cable and the 1080 channels are choppy or grainy, and changing from 480 to 1080 there is a green streaks as it blacks out for each change of channel or format. is that the green line of death? my unit is two weeks old. I have a DLP Widescreen it should be premo over a LCD or why would IMAX use DLP? also has anyone heard of LED DLP that Samsung Introduced, I have a Misubishi I like the 3D, however I was thinking that Mitsubishi should go LED asap. So whats the scoop on HD vs HDTV, did i make a better choice as most have HDTV. Thanks. Don

"....does the set have a built in digital tuner or not? If it does, it's an HDTV; if it doesn't, it's HD Ready."

This article was written in 2005, when there were many displays available with no digtal tuner. Now, all TVs have digital tuners.
