I have analog TV's and the digital converter boxes. I know how to connect the attic antenna to the converter box and then to the VCR and finally to the TV.

But I'm getting conflicting info from RCA converter box folks.

I have to have my converter box set to channel 3 which is the unused channel in my area. But can't get the setup downstairs to even record let alone view.

RCA say the VCR needs to be set on channel 4 to view the recorded tape. When I turn the switch to channel 4 on the back of the vcr the TV goes nuts.

WHAT is the correct set up?
