I need some advise on hooking up my Direct TV HDTV receiver to my Sony LCD HDTV and Sony DVD player. Everything was working fine until there was a problem with another TV in the house. Direct TV came out twice - installed a B Band converter to fix the problem. I still have lines running through my screen. They suggested I buy a HDMI cable. I have and installed, but cannot disconnect my other high performance Monster cable. Lines are still present. Can you help or direct me to someone that can reinstall cables. Direct TV is not an option. Thank you.
