wondering if any one here has used the cheap 98.00 magnavox dvd recorder from walmarts. I am looking for one to just record from my satellite nfusion box to dvd. I would like the recording to at least be as good as what i see coming straight from box to tv..thanks anyone |

I purchased a Magnavox today and it records pretty good, 1 problem is that its almost impossible to try and figure out how to hook it up to a digital cable box, or maybe im just an idiot. either way i recorded the show " The Dr.s " and it was good. I however got mine on sale for 39.99  |

No DVD recorder will record the exact image it receives, not even the Toshiba made recorders which have by far the best PQ. I don't like the PQ of the Funai recorders but I've been using Toshibas for years. If you've never used a good recorder and don't go over 2 hours, a Funai would probably be OK |
