I tried to hook up my Toshiba HDD/DVD recorder to the DTV converter box. The only channel that showed up on my program list was channel 4 (the channel I selected on the converter box). Now, the other local channels do not appear. I am currently connected to an analog antenna. Can anyone tell me how to get the other channels to appear? Thanks!

Connect the antenna in to the DVD recorder then the converter, that will let the TVGOS download the info and shouldn't affect the converter if you have a good signal. If you do get problems when connected that way, you may need to add a signal booster.

Supposedly the DTVpal is the only converter compatible with the TVGOS. I can't verify that but look here:
