I have a Samsung 50" DLP TV, model # HLN5065WX/XAA. When turned on it sounds like a "small saw" and no picture. After 3 atempts all 3 lights come on. Thought the bulb was out... the TV is 4 1/2 years old. I pulled it out and it looks OK. Do I need a new bulb?

Jay,

Looks like I have a similar problem. Please let me know what you found. I am confused if it's the lamp or the color wheel or the Ballast that's defective. I have posted a discussion under Flat Panel TV's. I too am new to this site. Hope I get an solution to this issue.
