Just picked up this BDP last night. So far it seems really good. I had a question about the audio out on this.

If I use the 7.1 analog outs to my receiver, does that mean that the player will automatically stream HD sound format to my receiver when playing a Blu-ray.

In the settings menu of the player I have it set so that the analog connections send PCM. Is this all I need to do?

Yes, but there could be some setup issues between the player and receiver. Here is an interesting thread that touches on the subject.
