HELLO I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF I WANT TO RECORD A CERTAIN PROGRAM, I GUESS IT IS OBVIOUS THAT I SHOULD LEAVE MY TV ON THE CHANNEL THAT THE PROGRAM IS ON? I HAVE SET THE TIMER TO START AND STOP AT A CERTAIN TIME AND DAY. THANKS FOR ANY HELP...DAVE |

1) Leave your cable box powered up and showing the channel you want to record. 2) Set the VCR's timer to the appropriate day and start/stop times. Program the VCR to record either channel 3 or 4, depending on the normal playback channel you normally have the TV set to. 3) Don't turn off the cable box. You can turn off the TV. |
