Need help **copying** content from my motorola DCT3412 dual tuner DVR!

I am able to record, convert & reply content saved to my DVR using my mac & firewire SDK software as many folks have described in this forum.. HOWEVER I just canceled my Comcast service in order to give Verizon FIOS a try and realized that I have some content (standard programming TV shows) on my DVR that I would like to pull off before I return my cable boxes to Comcast.

Can someone please advise how I can copy content off my DVR without having to “play & record” option with AVCVideoCap application. I cannot play the content on my DVR since I made the mistake of canceling my Comcast account already!
