Mitsubishi WD-52725, S/N 100354, 4 YO

Problem: Picture went black and red lamp replacement light blinked. I replaced the lamp, but still do not have a picture. Audio is just static. Input (cable) is verified to be good.

Is this an optical engine failure or power supply failure? Where do I start?
