We recntly had dishnet work installed, and we were used to recording on the vcr, one channel while watching another we no longer are able to that, we have an a/b switch but have no idea where in the new system to place it.We called dish net work were told we have to buy a different system for $700.00 to be able to do what we want.Does any one have any suggestions on how to set it up with an a/b switch?

If you only have 1 satellite receiver you can only watch or record 1 channel at a time.
